The Green School Committee and the Student Council were joined by Patrick Hunt in March. Patrick brought the children around the school grounds and discussed the possibilities of creating meadows, hedges, and woodland forest walks around the school. It was very interesting, and we are looking forward to seeing which ideas we can implement and work towards making our school grounds more colourful and wildlife-friendly with various plants, trees, and shrubs.
Patrick helped the children to plant sow some wildflowers in one of the courtyard areas. These wildflowers were planted in the hope of giving bees and other pollinators a better chance of survival.
